Our Story

Baby Beehinds was born in the days when people thought cloth nappy enthusiasts were just a little bit nuts. A little too ambitious. Sure, the environment matters, but just you wait! The mess, the hassle, the washing…you’ll never last. But like millions of cloth parents worldwide, last we did.

Almost 20 years after our first reusable nappy was made way back in 2004, modern cloth nappies are now the talking point of the (baby) world. Gone are the days of terry towelling squares and nasty nappy rash. Gone are the desperate struggles with safety pins and wriggling bodies. Enter comfortable, washable, absorbent, moisture-wicking cloth nappies that actually fit! And no pins (or leaks) in sight.

Our Mission

We work off a simple philosophy: every cloth nappy used means one fewer nappy in landfill. And with a mind-boggling 800 million disposable nappies ending up in Australian landfills every year, we really do think it’s possible to change the world one nappy at a time. We’ve come a long way from the curious sideways glances and raised eyebrows of our early pioneering years. More and more parents (and governments) agree that MCN’s have the eco credentials (and ease of use) to make them the number one way to reduce your environmental impact during your nappying years.

Our Team

We are wholly Australian owned and managed, and our entire range is designed right here in Australia. Our team have been quietly leading the eco-warrior space for years before it became trendy.

Since then, we’ve continually worked to improve our designs, materials and fit, as well as upping the style factors with both on-trend and classic colours and prints. What does all this mean for you? There’s never been a better time to join us in.

Our Manufactureres

We can proudly say we are one of the only cloth nappy brands in the world who has worked with the same factory for almost 20 years. Our factory is European owned and managed and have been are the forefront of reusable nappy technology for over 40 years. Like us, they truly value their staff. With a staff of 40 who we know most by name now, 3 sewing lines deep and and some of the toughest quality control steps in place we adore the partnership we have developed and wear our ‘made in china’ badge with pride.

Our factory have led the way in garment production for staff incentives, paid schooling for children, 32% higher wages and not to mention their solar powered premises.
