Wool Nappy Cover is your Night Nappy Game Changer:

The must-have nappy cover essential for mastering cloth nappies at night. Simply add Lanolin for the ultimate magic dry night solution!

Why You’ll Love It:

NEW Thicker, lusher wool fabric which is Oekotex 100 certified, Certified Mulesing Free Wool and Woolmark Certified Yarn. Still just as stretchy but thicker yarn for a better coverage of your night nappy.
Dry Nights Yeh Baby!: Seriously we all want more sleep. All. The. Time. So having a dry baby & dry bedding makes for one happy mumma & bubba. This wool cover repels moisture back into the nappy underneath keeping everything dry. With a little TLC and lanolising these covers are seriously the bomb for nights.

Breathable All Night Long: Being a natural fibre, wool is the most breathable type of cover you will find. It can hold up to 4 times its weight without feeling wet (seriously wool is amazing!) AND on those hot summer nights your little one will stay super cool. Surprising I know, but so true!

Big Booty Safe: Let’s face it .. Night Nappy = Big Booty Baby so you need a cover with super stretch in both directions to cover the nappy properly. These covers will fit over the biggest booty going round with our custom-made fine merino wool interlock.

Self Cleaning: … Well almost. Once these wool wraps care washed & lanolised, the beauty is that wool self neutralises & deodorises wee meaning you only need to wash these when they start to get smelly. Just air dry during the day and away you go each night. Seriously good, so a little bit of wool wash & lanolise once a month and you have the easiest night nappy cover ever!

Soft & Cuddly: These are beautifully made and designer with soft delicate skin in mind, so we only use 100% Australian Merino wool so they are soft against the skin. Babies with sensitive skin even love these covers!

Also available in our Trial Packs & Night Starter Packs which get you a nice little discount too.

  1. Audrey (Verified Customer)

Love these covers. They are wonderfully stretchy and fit well over a night nappy. Other wool covers I have are much too wide and not high enough to fit over the nappy easily, but the elastane in these solves that issue. My five month old is 8.5kg and the large is a great fit. If you’re on the middle to higher end of the weight range, I’d probably size up for longevity.

  2. Dayna White (Verified Customer)

I use a wool cover over a disposable nappy at night (we only use cloth during the day). The wool cover has saved us on many occasions. Love that they don’t have to be washed frequently. They fit well and are lovely and soft.

  3. Hannah Cooke

I’ve had my wool covers with two babies now and they are perfect. They give me the added assurance of no leaking with some of my older nappies and provide great coverage when paired with the night nappies.

  4. TK (Verified Customer)

Love the fabric, super stretchy and soft, easy to care for – the sizing just isn’t accurate for us. My 14kg boy only just fits in the XL, and the waistband didn’t seem to recover much after first wear so I’m not sure how long they’ll last us unfortunately.

    • Baby BeeHinds (Verified Customer)

Thanks for the feedback on sizing and you must have a deliciously chubby babe to be outgrowing the XL size. Our covers contain no elastic – they only stretch due to the spandex in the wool fabric so it will stretch as much as needed to fit. We haven’t had any reported issues in 17 years of the wool waist over-stretching but if there is any problems please do let us know.

  5. n.santoro

It never leaks, and is the perfect cover for my hemp night nappies. Using other covers before, he would somehow leak through and I’d have to change his cloths. The wool never smells. And don’t have to wash it as regularly as alternative covers. Worth the money.

  6. Elise Nandan

I found this very hard to lanolise and get waterproof. I gave up on night nappies… it’s also hard as only fits to a certain size…

    • Baby BeeHinds (Verified Customer)

Waterproofing your wool covers is super easy – our best tips are to use 1 teaspoon of lanolin per wool cover the first time you lanolise them, them then 1/2 teaspoon thereafter. Make sure you use 100% pure lanolin only and use something to emulsify the lanolin so its disperses evenly. A lanolised wool cover is also only as good as the nappy underneath so make sure you have enough absorbency for night time. Unfortunately the fabric composition doesn’t allow snaps to be added to make one-size, so that is why you see only sized wool covers on the market. Our covers have a generous stretch and high rise up the tummy to fit over all night nappy options… Nights is the hardest to get right so feel free to reach out to our customer service team for any help.

  7. Nerida Hopkins-Arnold (Verified Customer)

I didn’t use wool covers with my big kids years ago but decided to give them a go with surprise baby. Very glad I did. Lanolising was much easier than Idanticipated

  8. devilsangel82

Love these cover! They can be used overnight with a night nappy or during the day over the bamboo or hemp nappies. Even great over terry flats. They are a little more work due to the need to lanolise, but we’ll worth the extra work.

  9. Kate

We had the older style of the wool cover first and it was perfect, five stars. When we moved up a size (large) the fit was not as good and didn’t make it all the way over the night nappy at the back. So we stopped using it and switched to the PUL covers. Would prefer wool for the breathability but couldn’t get the fit right the second time around.

  10. Lauren

Great, lovely and soft against bub’s skin. Easy to clean.

  11. ZOE MOORE (Verified Customer)

I love this wool cover, I decided to get one to try and seeing lots of people recommend it! Its amazing how well it works. I was a little confused about the lanolising but it was really simple, and now doesn’t need to be washed for a few weeks! Have not had any leaks and it doesn’t smell at all! Highly recommend!

  12. Anonymous

Love this wool cover. Actually so much easier than I thought it was going to be. Haven’t had wet clothes or bedding since we started using.

  13. Rachel

I am actually still in disbelief of how good this wool cover works. It’s amazing, completely dry clothes on changing. Lanolising was easy, did take a while to dry but doesn’t need to be done that often so it’s no worries. Happy to be able to use natural fibres on bubba. Will purchase another for sure! Used with hemp fitted nappy overnight.

  14. hashtagwaiej

Loveeee the wool cover, they are so soft and cozy, great for winter and summer use. a little piece of mind when popping on for the night. goes on any different brand nappies perfectly too!

  15. Isabella Ashburner (Verified Customer)

I use these on my baby during hot summer days. They seem to breath so much better than PUL covers, and in the Australian heat, it’s easy for my little one to get hot. My little one is a heavy wetter, so still need to find the perfect combo of liners to go with this. Great cover, with perfect amount of stretch to fit an ever growing baby.

  16. EllaJ (Verified Customer)

These plus the dedicated night nappies or bamboo fitted nappies are the ultimate bed/naptime solution. They work so well, don’t leak (well we’ve not had any) and are cosy and warm on our babies bottom. They also fit nice and tight so there’s no way for anything to leak out. Also keeps our baby so dry, right until morning. The lanolising etc is definitley an extra effort, but worth it for the peace of mind keeping bub comfortable and sleeping through the night. Only con is they are really pricey, especially just for a cover and considering the fact you have to upsize when bub grows, but worth it if you can afford them.

  17. EllaJ (Verified Customer)

Excellent cover for keeping away leaks. Comfy and warm for bub during cold nights too. Only issues are that they add more bulk to an already bulky nappy, and also the extra care that needs to be done. Not a lot on its own, but alongside all the other cloth nappy stuff – it can easily pile up. Also pretty pricey. But worth it if you can afford to get one or two. We see it as the ultimate night time nappy.

  18. Lindsay Lee (Verified Customer)

A little scared of the wash routine on this however the fit and feeling of the fabric is great so in time I’m sure the no leaks will outweigh the extra wash steps.

  19. Sarah H (Verified Customer)

    Game changer!

My baby outlets every combination of nappy overnight – using the wool cover has been a game changer and we have gone from being soaked through every night to not needing a change. It’s amazing how absorbent the wool is an feels comfortable for baby. Wish I had done this with my first child.

  20. Caitlin Forbes

Heat breathable cover for overnight or summer.

  21. Sami

I wanted to love this – a natural fibre option instead of the PUL cover! However, it’s quite small, and for some reason the lanolising process left my cover stickier than I wanted it to be. There was residue on my fingers, and it wasn’t the nicest feeling when dressing baby at night. I opted for the PUL cover because it’s fuss-free.

  22. Melanie Taraborrelli

The properties of wool amaze me. This is a beautiful soft cover which has kept my twin girls’ clothes dry throughout the night. I love the firm fit and the lanolising process is much easier than I would have initially thought!

  23. greenwood.kate (Verified Customer)

The unique traits of wool are so impressive. We use these covers over our night nappy, and have recently started using them over our bamboo fitted during the day at home. We have never had a leak whilst using this cover.
The fit is just right, stretching with our growing boy, which makes it great value. Lanolising has been a really easy process, and only needed once a month or so. Highly recommend.

  24. Stacey Luxford (Verified Customer)

Hector is my 2 and a half (almost 3 year old) and has high sensory autism, he has refused to wear clothes for almost a year now but wear a hat every day. We have been toilet training him for 3 months now and he is in heaven knowing he doesn’t have to wear clothes.
I recently bought Baby Beehinds Wool Cover for the Bamboo Fitted nappies for my 1 year old and instead liked how stretchy these wool covers are so put them on my 2 year old just like undies and he loved them! He didn’t even try to take them off! When he did an accident (*wee) he didn’t have wee running down his leg like undies and when he took them off after weeing, there was a little pool of wee which I just poured out, since i only bought one we have washed it and he is waiting/ eager for it to dry. I haven’t even lanolised them yet either!
I would like to say if you have an autistic child with any type of sensory needs. I’d recommend these as undies or even training pants. They’re stretchy but hold their place and are firm fitting. Couldn’t recommend them enough, will be recommending these wool covers to his OT Therapists .

  25. Hannah Bergado (Verified Customer)

This nappy cover is amazing, leaving a review as I’m coming back to buy some more. I was skeptical about not needing to wash after every use, but they really do self sanitise! My baby started waking every hour because he was wet recently, but when I use this cover with the baby beehinds night nappy he can sleep 6 hours straight.
Also, this company has hands down the best customer service of any of the cloth nappy companies, and I have a pretty wide range of brands in my stash. So helpful, lovely team and literally the best nappies. You won’t regret investing a little more for this cover, it is worth its price tag a hundred times over!
